Greenaway Scott recently advised Gower College Swansea on its purchase of shares in Track Training Limited, one of Wales' leading training and development providers, who operate across the UK in the delivery of business improvement and 'Six Sigma' programmes.

The College is now the majority shareholder of Track Training Limited - a long established and successful 'Wales Fast Growth 50' company with leading clients in England and Wales.

This deal will allow the two organisations to share each other's expertise whilst providing a wider range of high quality services including energy efficiency, engineering, management development, continuous improvement and Lean Sigma programmes.

Mark Jones, Principal of Gower College Swansea, said "We are delighted to conclude this deal, it will allow us to benefit from Track's extensive commercial and business acumen while providing additional services which are of great benefit to both our existing and new clients."

It is intended that Track Training Limited will continue to operate as a separate company and remain at its existing premises in Bridgend. Malcolm Sanders, CEO of Track Training, commented: "Track Training has a strong brand and pit business improvement training provision is extremely well received from businesses within UK industry. We believe this latest development will have a positive impact on our work with clients and partners and will allow Track to expand its product portfolio and further strengthen its position in the marketplace."

Mark Jones added: "We are extremely grateful to Nigel and his team at Greenaway Scott for the professional way they guided us through a very complicated process. We now have an agreed framework, which both organisations are happy with, and which will allow the new partnership to move forward together strongly."
