Property Tech Start-up to Relocate to Cardiff

Thursday 21st December 2017

Urban Intelligence has developed a digital platform to help users navigate the UK planning system.

The company has completed a £600,000 seed investment round led by the Development Bank of Wales. Business angels from the property sector also took part, including Alex Price, chief executive of Palmer Capital Partners, and James Stevens, head of real estate development at Aberdeen Standard Investments.

In January, the business will relocate from London to Wales with a new office at Tramshed Tech in Cardiff. It was also recruited for roles in software development, planning, data science and commercial development.

Urban Intelligence also plans to expand its sphere of interest from London to other regions of the UK over the next six months.

Leanne Thomas at advisory firm Greenaway Scott advised on the investment round.
