Career Summary

Kirsty is an Employment associate at Greenaway Scott.  Kirsty works alongside the corporate and commercial lawyers to provide legal advice on employment law issues arising out of corporate and commercial deals.  Kirsty has advised on a broad range of employment law issues to a wide range of clients, from individuals with work place issues to small business owners and large national and international companies across the private sector.   Kirsty has particular experience in the following areas of employment law:

  • Drafting, negotiating and advising on contracts of employment both from a business and individual perspective ranging from junior employees to director level;
  • Drafting, reviewing and advising on handbooks and policies and procedures to ensure they are up to date with current legislation and reflect best practice;
  • Advising on employment status;
  • Advising on, drafting and negotiating terms of settlement agreements from both an employer and employee perspective;
  • Corporate support work including advising on TUPE provisions;
  • Advising on restrictive covenants; and
  • Day-to-day work place issues.

Prior to joining Greenaway Scott Kirsty was an employment solicitor at Capital Law.
